Media Smart Citizens brings innovative thinking to help solve a societal challenge and has gained the confidence and trust of leading institutions. Together with our network partners, we continue to diligently build and expand our service model based on design thinking, explanatory journalism, and public pedagogy.
Through educational content, programming, and community-based efforts, MSC is expanding the capabilities of individuals to build a better digital world. Topics we address include freedom of speech, the power of storytelling, artificial intelligence (AI), everyday media and tech solutions, money in a digital world, Fast Media awareness, misinformation, and cybersecurity.
Media Smart Citizens believes that an empowered democracy is composed of media-literate citizens equipped to positively impact the world. As a result of the dedication of our collective network of partners to this work, our original resources and outreach efforts are expanding the availability and positive effects of media and information education.
