The copyrighted model above examines Fast Media through the lens of the individual and collective behavior of people, households, and organizations. By reflecting on how our choices and actions impact each of the five factors individually and the collective outcome we gain the opportunity the create meaningful change at every level of our existence.

Noticing how the most basic aspects of our daily activities rely on media and technology, we recognize why it is defined as a 'human right' by UNESCO. Its central role in our lives means we should take time to consider its presence, perplexity and potential for us to optimize it as a tool towards a better today and tomorrow. UNESCO is fostering equality in the digital sphere. Especially in emerging technologies, there is a need to bridge the divide and address these challenges to enable inclusive digital societies.

Fast Media Awareness is an approach to understanding and diagnosing complex issues society faces in relation to media and the technology that drives it.
